The band Homemade Jam entertained the crowd while dinner was served and being eaten, which consisted of yummy beef on a bun and an abundance of salads. There was excitement in the air as everyone knew why they were present at such a momentous occasion.
It was time to thank the volunteers who make a difference in our community and people’s lives. Being honored tonight were long time volunteers, from one year of volunteering service to 45 years and still going strong.

The Valleyview Trade and Home Show received a warm reception, despite the unrelenting winds on May 11, 12. Approximately 100 vendors/exhibitors from Valleyview, the immediate area and beyond descended upon the Polar Palace Arena and Red Willow Curling Rink.
